BIO

The critiques highlight her warmth, naturalness and security she displays on stage.

Thanks to her innovative view of music for the viola and her extensive repertoire, Sara has known how to reach with the sound of her instrument to a wide variety of audience.

Sara started directly playing the Viola at age 3. Her professional music studies began at a young age in the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía in Madrid, and then obtained her Bachelor degree at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin with Tabea Zimmermann where she is currently finishing her Master's degree. Since December 2019 she is a member of the Karajan Academy of the Berlin Philharmonic as well as a member of the West Eastern Divan Orchestra under the direction of

Maestro Daniel Barenboim.
